Holy Eucharist

Our worship service is both ancient and modern: grounded in the words of scripture, patterned after the worship of the early church, and relevant for our lives today.  It is this dynamic spiritual blending that causes us to encounter Jesus at Grace Church.

Eucharist comes from the Greek word meaning "thanksgiving." The entire service is called the Holy Eucharist and is broken into two primary parts: The Liturgy of the Word and The Liturgy of the Table.  After almost 2000 years the Holy Eucharist remains the principal act of Christian worship.

As a part of the worship service you will hear a sermon that is Biblically based.  Sermons do have a reputation for inducing sleep, but not here at Grace Church.  Fr. Jonathan and Rev. Caroline know how to use humor and intelligence to make the Bible relevant to our lives.
