Episcopal Church Women
The primary goal of Episcopal Church Women (ECW) is to care for Grace members. ECW does not require membership and is open to all women in the church. Meetings are held in the Parish House on the second Thursday of each month (except for summer months), beginning with a covered dish luncheon. ECW also provides soup lunches each Wednesday during Lent following the noon service.
The primary fund-raising project is the annual Christmas Bazaar that is held each November. (This year Nov. 11-12.) Items sold are made and/or donated and proceeds benefit certain outside charities, as well as church organizations. To be added to the call reminder list or if you need a ride to meetings, contact the Church Office.
The spring garden luncheon is held at Ann Anderson's house. Here are directions: From the Church parking lot, head west to Watula Avenue. Turn left and drive south on Watula. Immediately after crossing railroad tracks, turn left on Magnolia Rd. Extension and left again at traffic light (17th Street). Drive east on 17th Street, also called Maricamp Road, to the light at Highway 35, also called Baseline Road. Turn right onto Highway 35 and follow it south to the traffic light at Highway 25 in Belleview. Turn left and drive east 6 miles on Highway 25. Look for Alfie’s Restaurant on the left and slow down - you’re almost there. The road will curve to the left, and the Anderson’s driveway will be just beyond the guardrail on the right. Look for the mailbox decorated with American Flags at 12030. Turn right into the driveway and drive through the orange grove, and you have arrived. The actual address is 12030 E. Highway 25 in Ocklawaha, and the Anderson’s telephone number is 499-0166.
