Provides friendship, companionship and comfort by sharing our animals/pets with residents of care facilities, schools, libraries and other settings.
Visits enhance the lives of those in places like rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, hospitals and those who are homebound. The objective is to conduct regular weekly-monthly visits, with animals, to as many residents as possible. Such contacts with animals are known to provide both physiological and psychological and spiritual benefits -- conjuring up fond memories and creating a relaxing and therapeutic effect. Many sense God’s unconditional love and healing.
